Rippled Framed Flemish Antique Mirror

A fine Flemish rippled framed mirror with the extra special purple hue to the wood under light. The deep shifting purple hue you observe is from the traditional iron-tannin dye when it was ebonised in the creating process.

A heavily foxed original mirror plate alternates the mirror between function & art.

45 cm high x 38 cm wide x 5 cm deep
