An English regency ebonised and parcel gilt painted pine waterfall bookcase having three graduated open shelves with brass mounts, fitted with two lower drawers and raised on tapered feet, flanked by two brass handles.
The bookcase is in excellent condition and measures 102cm high 93cm wide 28cm deep.
Waterfall bookcases were introduced in the Regency period and were hugely popular two hundreds years ago for their pleasing aesthetic, just like they are today.
