Rare Narrow Loom Welsh Blanket

A very rare narrow loom Welsh blanket from the late 19th / early 20th century.

Mills couldn’t always produce wide blankets so with the use of only narrow looms available two blankets were made and stitched up the middle to create one wider blanket, as seen here.

Excellent true Welsh colours, still as vivid as ever.

Measuring 200 x 200 cm approximately.
