A pair of tiger studies by Stefani Melton Fisher.

Stefani was a British painter, draughtsman and wood engraver. The son of Royal Academician Samuel Melton Fisher, he studied at the Byam Shaw and Vicat Cole School of Art before continuing his training at the Royal Academy Schools, later returning to teach at Byam Shaw. He exhibited throughout the early twentieth century, including at the Royal Academy and as part of the British section at the 1926 Venice Biennale. His work is admired for its accomplished observation of the natural world and its refined, understated style.

The artwork is presented in a carefully selected nineteenth-century gilt foliage decorate frames, chosen to complement the nature of drawing subjects. We have chosen museum grade AR glass for this piece. Ready to hang.
