Pair of Gumm Stacking Bookcases

A good pair of stacking ebonised stacking bookcases by American firm Gumm. Gumm produced Globe-Wernicke-style barrister cases in Michigan during the early 1900s.

Both having three different graduating heights in the four sections to each bookcase, with up and over glass, brass handles and Queen Anne style front feeet.

Its always good to have a matching pair.

Early 20th century, with light wear throughout.

Condition:,One of the 8 sections is missing one single metal slider for the door to go up and over. Light scratching throughout. Cleaned & appropriately restored, now ready for the next owners.
