Huge traditional Welsh blanket

Wonderful colours & wonderful size on this vintage traditional double sided (reversible) Welsh blanket.

Dating from the 1950s this blanket was made at the Melin Tregwynt mill which is a family-owned woollen mill located in Pembrokeshire, Wales, that has been in operation since the 17th century. This particular blanket is in the “knot garden” weave and is in browns, blues & pink.

Measuring 220 x 210 cm (including fringes).
