From a Welsh Cinema: A Large Moonstone Plaffonier.

A large moonstone plaffonier in excellent condition that was salvaged from The Empire Cinema in Milford Haven, South West Wales.

Measuring 40 cm in diameter and 20 cm deep this large pendant light hangs on its three original chains and is in excellent condition.

With lovely Welsh provenance, the iconic building in SW Wales was thought to have started life at the turn of the century as a roller skating rink before turning into a cinema in 1931. It had a varied life also operating dually as a bingo hall from November 1983. The building then became a wine warehouse, then in April 1988 it became the Light House, home of the Milford Haven Christian Fellowship.

it fell into disrepair and its doors closed in 2013.
