A rare pair of French Neo-Grec patinated spelter candlesticks, probably Paris, circa 1875–1885, the fluted columns raised on tripod lion-paw supports with anthemion terminals beneath Greek key drip pans, inspired by the Pompeian candelabra popularised by Thomas Hope and the French Neo-Grec movement.

Measuring approximately 31.5cm tall.
