Egyptian Revival Tutankhamun Welsh Blanket.

A rare Tutankhamen Welsh Blanket woven by John Williams at the Vale of Conwy Mill. These limited edition Welsh blankets were made in the 1920s to commemorate the exhumation of King Tutankhamens tomb in 1922.

The expedition was famously sponsored by Lord Caernarvon of North Wales who famously died within a year of opening the tomb after his trip with Howard Carter.
