Early Narrow Loom Welsh Blanket.

In the late 19th to early 20th century Welsh Blankets were often produced on narrow looms which meant in order to fit larger beds two identical blankets would be made and sewn up the middle to form one good sized blanket.

This has been created using such method and is in wonderful condition with only a few very small thin areas you can see when held up directly to the light.

Measuring 210 cm x 200 cm (including the fringe) it is in excellent condition and a scarce find.
