A well very proportioned 19th Century slipper chair.
Raised on turned front legs and all legs on original castors (stamped D.M & sons with a crown above) this stripped back slipper chair is in great condition and is probably Scottish in origin.
The chair makers mark, which is seldom seen, reads “J.Whitehead” and we can either offer the chair as it is or have it upholstered in a fabric of your choice.
