1920s “New Old Stock” Welsh Blanket

A very rare find indeed is this 1920s Welsh blanket that is what we call in the antiques trade “new old stock” because despite being 100 years old it has seemingly never been used.

A heavy double sided transitional Welsh woollen blanket in both teal & pumpkin colours made using pure Welsh wool at the Penmachno Mill in the early 20th century.

Measuring approximately 220 x 190 cm
