The son of the Royal Academician Samuel Melton Fisher, he studied at the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eByam Shaw and Vicat Cole School of Art\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e before continuing his training at the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eRoyal Academy Schools\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, later returning to teach at Byam Shaw. He exhibited throughout the early twentieth century, including at the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eRoyal Academy\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e and as part of the British section at the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e1926 Venice Biennale\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.
